Every Fall we have the following conversation. "Where is our next trip going to take us?" We brainstorm a list of places we would like to visit, check out the cost of flights to various countries, check the internet on places to go and things to do, and read the US Government's Travel Warnings site. This year we decided on visiting Colombia. Colombia is safer than it use to be and after reading lots of blogs by travelers we thought we would be relatively safe traveling there this year. We will not rent a car and drive around, instead we will travel by domestic airlines and boats.
We signed up with the US Government STEP program. At least someone will know we are in Colombia and if we need help we know where to go.
Our goal for this trip is to create a blog using the iPad2 to document our trip. It has been a huge learning curve to figure out how to use Blogger and the iPad together to create and manage a blog. Hopefully, we will have it figured out by the time we leave home.
